GAIN (Gone Away Information Network)

GAIN is a network of organisations whose members share details of any individuals who have moved home without notifying the lender of a forwarding address, leaving behind a credit account on which money is owed. The information submitted to the credit reference agencies may include both the address the customer moved from and any address to where the customer has since been traced. The details may be viewed by any members of the GAIN organisation, and may adversely affect that person's ability to obtain credit.
