Address Information

In addition to listing the current and previous addresses that you have supplied to the credit reference agency, your credit report may contain information regarding addresses that are linked to you. The linked address information indicates that you (or one of your financial associates) have lived at the address(es) listed on your credit report.

How Do Addresses Become Linked?

When a lender carries out a search at your current address, and then immediately carries out a further search at your previous address, the two addresses become linked. Addresses are also linked when you inform a lender that you have moved to a new address.
